Talk & Move
Come and meet Helen Guntrip, Founder of Talk & Move and Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who will be there with the award-winning Talk & Move cards and training resources for early years educators and primary schools.
Talk & Move’s mission is to support the whole child. Helen has developed a unique approach that combines body movements with vocabulary, speech sounds and phonological awareness development. The programme is easy to use and inclusive, respecting the individual development of every child. With Active, Balancing and Calming moves, the programme also equips educators and parents with a range of tools to support children’s emotional regulation.
Helen works with early years settings, schools and organisations, helping educators to use evidence-informed strategies that can be embedded into everyday practice. Through expert-led CPD, Talk & Move can support settings to strengthen their inclusive provision. Talk & Move is an effective use of the Inclusive Early Years Fund (IEYF).
